Switzer-CARTY Transportation (SCT), the fastest-growing privately held school bus company in Ontario and a portfolio company of Terramont Infrastructure Partners, has secured a $300 million credit facility to support its growth in Canada and the United States.
The five-bank syndicate was led by Scotiabank. As a revolving facility, the financing will allow Switzer-CARTY to draw funds as needed, subject to its terms, to support its growth initiatives.
“We are grateful for Scotiabank’s long-standing support of Switzer-CARTY, as the company continues to grow and provide safe, reliable transportation services across North America,” said Michael Lehman and Vikram Singh, co-managing partners of Terramont Infrastructure Partners.
Headquartered in Burlington, Ontario, SCT currently operates thousands of vehicles across Canada and the United States, delivering home-to-school transportation, accessible student transit and custom charter services.
