The Government of Minas, through the Secretary of State for Infrastructure and Mobility, launched a bidding notice for the Metropolitan Rodoanel.
Business companies, investment funds, financial institutions and supplementary pension entities, Brazilian or foreign, may participate in the event, individually or in a consortium, provided that they fully meet the terms and conditions of the public notice.
“This is the main infrastructure project in the state and was developed by all the state secretariats,” said Fernando Marcato, secretary of state for infrastructure and mobility. “When the Rodoanel is complete, it is even possible to ban the circulation of trucks on the Belo Horizonte ring road, where we have 4,000 accidents per year with almost daily deaths. Therefore, the Rodoanel is not just a logistical project, it is a project that will save lives. That is our main objective.”
