Teachers’ Retirement System of the City of New York backs latest InfraVia European fund

The Teachers’ Retirement System of the City of New York (TRSNYC) has approved a $224.1 million commitment to the core-plus InfraVia European Fund VI, IREI has learned.

The pension fund could not be reached to comment on the investment at the time of publication. As of June 30, TRSNYC’s infrastructure portfolio was valued at $2.9 billion.

InfraVia Capital Partners is an independent European private equity firm specializing in real assets, including infrastructure, critical metals, real estate and technology investments. It invests in a number of infrastructure sectors, including telecommunication, energy transition, healthcare, social infrastructure, transportation and smart mobility.
