Target allocations continue to grow as institutions embrace infrastructure’s staying power

Infrastructure is having its moment, and it’s been a long time coming. What was once a backwater for institutional investors is fast becoming a mainstream investment play, with steadily rising allocations reflecting growing confidence in the asset class.

In fact, growing institutional appetite and conviction are expected to drive steady capital flows into infrastructure for several years, positioning the asset class as a core portfolio allocation. That is the assessment of the 2025 Institutional Infrastructure Allocations Monitor presented by Hodes Weill & Associates in partnership with Cornell University’s Program in Infrastructure Policy (CPIP).
