SUSI Partners sells 76MW solar PV portfolio in the Netherlands to Ingka Investments

SUSI Partners has sold a 76-megawatt portfolio of operational utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) assets in the Netherlands to Ingka Investments, the investment arm of IKEA retailer Ingka Group, after six years of diligent asset management. Financial terms were not disclosed.

SUSI acquired the assets throughout 2019 after the sites entered commercial operations. The portfolio consists of three utility-scale solar PV parks, combining for an average annual power production of 67 gigawatt-hours — enough to cover the electricity consumption of nearly 24,000 Dutch households. This accounts for more than 100,000 tonnes of avoided carbon dioxide equivalent emissions to date.

With this transaction, SUSI has now successfully exited 80 percent of the assets in its SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II (SREF II).
