SUSI Partners has plans to sell the 14.4-megawatt Milestone wind farm in County Tipperary, Ireland, to the Irish subsidiary of Italian renewable-energy company Alerion Clean Power. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Milestone wind farm consists of four turbines, combining for an average annual power production of 40 gigawatt-hours — enough to cover the electricity consumption of approximately 15,000 Irish households. It also accounts for more than 70,000 tonnes of avoided carbon dioxide equivalent emissions to date.
SUSI acquired the asset in early 2018 during the final phase of construction, began commercial operations later that year and is now transferring ownership of the asset after more than seven years of diligent asset management.
SUSI is selling the asset on behalf of its SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II (SREF II), which launched in 2014 and has built a well-diversified portfolio of operating onshore wind and solar PV assets located across Europe. W
