SUSI Partners captures €132m for energy efficiency and transition credit fund

SUSI Partners has secured €132 million ($143 million) in investor commitments for its SUSI Partners’ Energy Efficiency and Transition Credit Fund (SEETCF), following its first close in December 2022.

SEETCF received commitments from pension funds, insurance companies and foundations based in the Nordics and the DACH region. Many LPs already invested in the fund’s predecessor — SUSI Energy Efficiency Fund II.

The 15-year vehicle targets sustainable energy transition investments that contribute to climate-change mitigation. SEETCF is focused on European countries but retains the option to deploy in other Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) markets. With its €400 million ($434 million) target, the fund will be open to investors throughout 2023.
