SUSI Partners has entered into an investment agreement with Alba Renewables, a Southeast Asian developer, to support the buildout of utility-scale renewables projects in the Philippines.
The investment agreement will support the development, construction and operation of utility-scale, ground-mounted solar PV and onshore wind projects. The partners will focus on funding the construction of designated projects during the next 24 months and also enable Alba to upscale its development activities and operational capacity. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Alba Renewables develops, constructs and operates renewable-energy projects across the Asia Pacific region and works with institutional investors toward the mutual objective of building a best-in-class, multi-gigawatt IPP platform. The team has more than 5 gigawatts of project experience in renewable energy, from greenfield development through to operation, in more than 10 Asian countries.
