Australian oil and gas exploration company Strike Energy is in talks with potential funding partners for a $2.3 billion fertilizer project in Western Australia, according to Australian Financial Review.
The initiative, known as Project Haber, will take advantage of low-cost gas in the Perth Basin.
Strike will also focus on the production of green hydrogen, a key ingredient in the production of ammonia, which is needed to make this fertilizer.
The project will be based at Geraldton on the midwest coast of Western Australia.
