Stonepeak closes its first dedicated Asia strategy at $3.3b, surpassing target

Stonepeak has completed the final closing of its first dedicated Asia strategy, Stonepeak Asia Infrastructure Fund, with $3.3 billion in total capital commitments.

The fund exceeded its target of $3 billion, having received robust demand from new investors and existing investors in other Stonepeak funds. This diverse group of limited partners encompasses investors from every region and includes pensions, endowments, insurance companies and other large institutions.

Stonepeak Asia Infrastructure Fund seeks to construct a diversified portfolio of infrastructure assets predominantly within the communications, transport and logistics, and energy sectors. Its geographic mandate spans the Asia Pacific region, including both developed and high-growth countries. The fund has made six investments to date, spanning each of its target sectors.
