StepStone Group names six new partners

StepStone Group, a global private markets firm, has named six new partners:

  • Ian Aaker – La Jolla
  • Rebecca Ajavananda – New York
  • Kate Budiselik – Perth, Australia
  • Tracy Harris – New York
  • Jay Morgan – New York
  • John Waters – San Francisco

Aaker joined StepStone in 2008 and is a member of the private equity team, focusing on U.S.-based middle, large and global buyouts.

Ajavananda, who joined the firm in 2010, focuses on marketing and investor relations across all asset classes.

Budiselik, who joined the firm in 2014, is a member of the infrastructure and real assets team.

Harris joined the firm in 2016 and is a member of the private equity team, focusing on small-market buyouts, growth equity, venture capital and emerging managers. She also leads the firm’s ESG initiative.

Morgan, who joined StepStone in 2017 from Courtland Partners, is a member of the real estate team.

Waters joined StepStone in 2014 and is a member of the real estate team.

StepStone oversees more than $135 billion of private capital allocations, including more than $35 billion of assets under management.
