Startups positioned for growth under Biden administration

by Kali Persall

Following the election of incoming President Joe Biden, startups are poised to see some advancement of stalled infrastructure initiatives, according to TechCrunch.

One of the key campaign strategies centers on the “buy American” idea that outlines a $400 billion procurement investment that, together with the Biden clean energy and infrastructure plan, will power new demand for American products, materials and services and ensure that they are shipped on U.S.-flagged cargo carriers, according to the Biden-Harris campaign website.

Much of the infrastructure that will be replaced in the United States under the Biden plan will also be upgraded with new technology, according to TechCrunch. Technology companies focused on next-generation telecommunications and utility infrastructure, transportation, and energy efficiency could see a cash influx in the coming years.
