Denver-based data center company Stack Infrastructure is planning to significantly expand its Chicago data center campus, the company revealed Friday.
The future development will be adjacent to Stack’s existing 221,000-square-foot facility, CHI01 Data Center, which has a capacity of 13 megawatts.
The new multi-story data center will offer at least 20 megawatts of additional critical capacity with the possibility of additional growth, bringing the Chicago data center’s total potential capacity to at least 33 megawatts.
Stack also operates data centers in Atlanta; Dallas/Fort Worth; Northern Virginia; Portland, Ore.; and Northern California’s Silicon Valley.
