Having survived global disruptions, such as the pandemic, followed by high inflation and interest rates, the infrastructure market is proving itself resilient and attractive to investors, according to a report by Alex Leung, research and strategy, infrastructure, with UBS Asset Management, Real Estate & Private Markets.

The report, titled, “’The return of “animal spirits’ in infrastructure: Early signs of an infrastructure fundraising and dealmaking recovery in 2024,” which was published in the May issue of Institutional Investment in Infrastructure, examines what Leung calls the reignition of the fundraising-dealmaking engine. “In our industry, fundraising leads to deals, and deals lead to more fundraising.
