Schroders Greencoat launches LTAF energy transition infrastructure fund

Schroders Greencoat has launched Schroder Greencoat Global Renewables+ LTAF, a long-term asset fund (LTAF) specifically catered to renewable energy and energy transition infrastructure investments.

The LTAF will target infrastructure supporting the energy transition in the United Kingdom, United States and continental Europe and will look to provide access to attractive, long-term investments in private markets by deploying capital across wind and solar assets, as well as a range of other energy transition assets such as hydrogen, heating and storage.

LTAFs are open-end investment vehicles that allow for a broad range of investors to invest efficiently in illiquid and private markets with longer-term horizons. This is the United Kingdom’s first LTAF dedicated to renewable energy and energy transition infrastructure.
