The Salim Group has unveiled plans to scale up digital infrastructure in Indonesia, according to Bloomberg.
The Salim Group currently owns and operates data centers in Indonesia serving financial institutions and enterprise customers. The company is reportedly looking to develop data centers at its industrial parks.
IREI understands the group is in talks with banks regarding $500 million of loans to fund the undertaking, with Salim Group to invest about $100 million per industrial park.
Discussions are ongoing and there is no guarantee that a deal will be executed.
