Sacyr, a Spanish infrastructure operator and developer, has signed on to a highway public-private partnership (P3) in Colombia, according to InfraPPP.
Sacyr will invest €800 million ($801 million) in the project, which involves the development and modernization of a section of the Buga-Loboguerrero-Buenaventura in the region of Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
The company also will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project for 27 years.
The project upgrades a 128-kilometer (80-mile) road to a divided highway with 118 kilometers (73 miles) of a new lane.
