RWE committed to increasing its wind capacity in the United States on June 15, also known as Global Wind Day, in line with its growth strategy to install more than 50 gigawatts of renewable capacity globally by 2030.
Currently, the United States accounts for more than half of RWE Group’s renewable capacity. The nation is a key market for growing RWE's wind business, building on a substantial global portfolio that includes more than 200 onshore wind farms and 19 offshore wind farms.
