RGREEN INVEST, a French independent investment management company specializing in financing the energy transition, has provided €58 million ($68 million) of construction financing to Hamburg-based independent power producer NEAG Norddeutsche Energie to support the buildout of two new onshore wind farms in Germany.
With a combined installed capacity of 44 megawatts, the two projects will be equipped with the latest generation of wind turbines supplied by German manufacturer eno energy. They will be located in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Saxony-Anhalt — sites that benefit from long-term feed-in tariffs awarded under Germany’s Renewable Energy Sources Act — and will be operated under 20-year full-service agreements.
