Resolution Capital has launched the Capital Real Asset Fund to invest in Australian REITs and Australian listed infrastructure investment securities.
The fund was previously known as the Capital Core Plus Property Securities Fund, which underwent a series of alterations, effective Oct. 1.
According to Resolution Capital, the investment strategy of the fund was amended to include Australian and global listed infrastructure in its portfolio, and management fees were also reduced. The firm said the fund was renamed to better reflect the new investment strategy.
Additionally, the fund was reopened to new investors.
According to the firm, the new fund gives Investors access to a professionally managed portfolio of Australian REITs, real estate securities, Australian listed infrastructure securities, and global listed real estate and infrastructure securities.
Investments will include infrastructure assets such as airports, pipelines, toll roads and public utilities, as well as commercial real estate assets, including office buildings, shopping centers and logistics warehouses.
Resolution Capital plans to invest up to 20 percent of the Capital Real Asset Fund in global real estate and infrastructure securities listed on international stock exchanges.
