Reid Capalino has been appointed as a senior vice president of business development at LS Power, an investment and operating company focused on power generation, electric transmission and energy infrastructure.
Capalino previously served as a managing director at Aligned Climate Capital and as principal at Aligned Intermediary, investment platforms focused on deploying capital into clean energy and related areas, according to his LinkedIn page.
Capalino began his career as an analyst at Deutsche Bank Climate Advisors, where he helped fund managers evaluate investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency and agriculture, in addition to other tasks.
He also previously served as a senior energy analyst at the Carbon Tracker Initiative, a financial think tank focused on energy and climate issues.
Capalino earned his master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Reed College.
