RBC Global Asset Management has appointed Andrew Hay to the new role of head of global infrastructure investments, to help expand the firm’s capabilities in private markets.
Hay will be based in Toronto and report to Michael Kitt, RBC GAM’s head of private markets and real estate equity investments.
Hay brings extensive experience in the infrastructure investment space. He most recently spent 14 years with a large Canadian pension plan as senior principal, infrastructure investments, where he helped to establish one of Canada’s largest direct infrastructure programs and oversaw a global portfolio totaling $37 billion.
