Rakiza Fund I to acquire industrial water utilities provider in Oman

Rakiza Fund I, the Oman Infrastructure Investment Fund co-managed by Oman Infrastructure Investment Management (Rakiza) and Equitix, has announced plans to acquire Majis Industrial Services SAOC from OQ, the global energy investment group.

Majis is an integrated industrial water utilities provider serving Sohar's strategic industrial and port complex under a long-term concession framework. It provides cooling seawater, process water, potable water and wastewater treatment services to a diverse industrial customer base.

Rakiza Fund I has partnered with IV3 Aqua on the transaction, drawing on its specialist water sector expertise. Through this partnership, Rakiza will support Majis’ next phase of growth, focusing on operational performance, sustainable development and reliable service delivery. Financial terms were not disclosed.
