RailWorks acquires California rail maintenance and construction contractor

RailWorks, a North American specialty construction and maintenance rail contractor, has acquired California-based H&H Engineering Construction. Financial terms were not disclosed.

H&H is a rail maintenance and construction contractor for the western United States that provides services for transit, ports, freight railroads and rail-served industrial companies.

“The addition of H&H solidifies our position within the western region to provide unmatched service,” said Richard Carney, executive vice president of regional services at RailWorks. “They have a great reputation within the industry for their quality of work and on-time execution. We are excited to welcome them into our company and continue to expand our business.”
