Quantum Energy Partners VII has a $3.5 billion target with a $4.5 billion hard cap.
The firm’s primary focus is upstream oil and gas with a secondary focus in midstream, power generation and oilfield services. Its core competency is oil and gas plays.
The firm takes a control approach with North American platform investments in the $200 million to $500 million size.
Quantum Energy Partners VI closed in 2015 with $4.45 billion.
