QIC is shoring up its North American infrastructure team with the appointment of Yakov Tsveig as senior principal, QIC Infrastructure, as well as two promotions.
Based in New York, Tsveig will focus on origination, capital deployment and execution across power, renewables and energy-transition investments, supporting QIC Infrastructure’s 45 institutional clients across its funds and separately managed accounts, as well as the ongoing management of QIC’s existing North American assets. Tsveig joins QIC from Riverstone Holdings, where he most recently served as managing director.
There, he led control buyouts, platform investments and financings across power, renewables, midstream and energy transition, including board representation at Lucid Energy, Meritage Midstream and Pattern Energy, among other investments. Before joining Riverstone in 2015, Tsveig worked in investment banking at Barclays Capital.
