Pioneer Point Partners, a sustainable infrastructure investment firm, has acquired Arpex, a behind-the-meter solar photovoltaic (PV) platform in Italy.
Arpex is a decarbonization partner for Italian commercial and industrial businesses. Its focus on on-site clean-energy generation enables customers to decarbonize operations while improving energy resilience and reducing energy costs. The company also provides comprehensive asbestos removal services.
The company’s founders, who also serve as managers, bring deep expertise in industrial automation and a strong network of industrial customers across Northern Italy. Following Pioneer’s investment, they will be joined by a seasoned management team that includes Antonio Urbano, former CEO of Sistema Rinnovabili — a previous Pioneer portfolio company.
