Sentia acquired the facility, which is located on Smedeland, Glostrup, in 2016. Jakob Høholdt, managing director of Sentia Denmark, said that operating a data center is not Sentia's core business, and therefore the company has decided to divest.
Penta Infra was deemed to have the right capabilities to focus on running a data center.
“By selling our data center, we aim to achieve a synergy that will benefit our customers,” added Høholdt. “We free up resources to do what we do best: creating good customer experiences and ensuring we have the most optimal solutions now and in the future.
