Pantheon Infrastructure has agreed to invest €43 million ($48 million) in a European transport and logistics company through Pomodoro Holdings, a company controlled by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management Inc.
This is Pantheon Infrastructure’s first investment since it launched on the London Stock Exchange following a substantially over-subscribed £400 million ($527 million) initial public-equity offering in November 2021.
The investee company is a market leader specializing in cold-chain warehousing, transport and supply-chain management that provides essential export and import operations of fruits and vegetables. The company has a pan-European presence and benefits from a number of strategic partnerships and established, long-term client relationships across the continent. It also has a dedicated research-and-development and ESG team, focused on several sustainability initiatives, including working toward a 2030 net-zero emissions strategy.
