Palisade Investment Partners is taking ownership of 100 percent interests in two significant development-stage renewable-energy projects in Australia. These include the Monogorilby Renewable Energy Park (MREP), which is being acquired from LP Renewable Projects (LPRP), and the Winton Renewable Energy Storage and Stability Terminal (WRESST), which is being acquired from Celero Infrastructure.
Located in the Monogorilby locality of Australia, MREP is being developed as an integrated renewable-energy facility comprising up to 600 megawatts of wind generation and a colocated 400-megawatt ac/1,600-megawatt-hour battery energy storage system (BESS). WRESST is a 400-megawatt ac/1,600-megawatt-hour BESS development project located in Victoria, Australia, adjacent to the Glenrowan Terminal Station. The acquisitions were completed partway through the projects’ development phases.
