The Oregon State Treasury has approved a commitment of $300 million to Brookfield Infrastructure Fund VI, a closed-end vehicle managed by Brookfield.
Brookfield Infrastructure Fund VI invests in transportation, renewable power, utilities and data infrastructure assets across North America, Europe, South America and Asia Pacific. The fund aims to raise $30 billion in equity. Its predecessor, Brookfield Infrastructure Fund V, closed with $30 billion in 2023, becoming the world’s largest closed-end private infrastructure fund at that time.
The Oregon State Treasury had $104 billion in total assets under management, as of September 30, with more than $11 billion allocated to real assets, which includes infrastructure.
