The Oregon State Treasury has disclosed a total of $500 million in commitments to two open-end infrastructure funds managed by Brookfield and Harrison Street.
Oregon invested $250 million each in Brookfield Super-Core Infrastructure Partners and Harrison Street Social Infrastructure Fund on behalf of its alternatives portfolio within the infrastructure allocation.
Brookfield Super-Core Infrastructure Partners is an open-end fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management. Launched in 2018, the fund is looking to invest in infrastructure assets, such as transportation and utilities, in the United States.
The open-end fund managed by Harrison Street also opened to investors in 2018, and was created to service universities, health systems and government users, targeting social infrastructure investments throughout the United States.
