The Ohio Police & Fire (OP&F) Pension Fund’s board of trustees has approved a commitment of up to $80 million to iCON Infrastructure Partners VII, managed by iCON Infrastructure.
The commitment was made on behalf of OP&F’s real assets portfolio.
iCON Infrastructure Partners VII is a noncore, closed-end fund focusing on middle-market opportunities in Europe and North America. A fundraising target for the fund could not be determined at the time of publication. The previous fund in the series, iCON Infrastructure Partners VI, held its final close in 2022 at $3.6 billion, surpassing its initial target of $3 billion.
The OP&F portfolio was valued at $19.15 billion as of March 25. Its real assets portfolio is valued at $1.2 billion, representing 6.25 percent of the total portfolio. The target allocation for real assets is 8 percent.
