Octopus Real Estate, part of Octopus Investments, has added an 80-bed care home in Yorkshire, England, to the Octopus Healthcare Fund’s (OHF) portfolio, which secured its 100th care home in November.
The latest care home, Manor Farm, was acquired by Octopus Real Estate for £15.5 million ($17 million) via a forward-funding transaction. The facility will offer a mix of residential and dementia care.
Manor Farm is currently in development and is due to open to residents in spring 2025. Upon completion, it will be operated by Sandstone Care Group on a 35-year lease.
