The New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) has unveiled several large commitments with high-profile infrastructure managers in its July investment report.
The pension fund committed €200 million ($199 million) each to DIF Infrastructure Fund VII (DIF VII) and DIF Core Plus Infrastructure Fund III (CIF III), both managed by DIF Capital Partners.
DIF VII will invest in core, long-term contracted infrastructure investments in public-private partnerships (P3s), utilities and renewable-energy sectors. CIF III will invest in mid-term contracted economic infrastructure, targeting small- and mid-market infrastructure investments in the telecom, energy and transportation sectors. DIF Capital Partners represents a new relationship for NYSCRF.
In addition, the pension fund committed $100 million to ISQ Co-Investment Fund III (ISQ III Co-Invest), managed by I Squared
