The Norwegian Public Roads Administration is seeking private developers for the national road 555 Sotrasambandet project, a major public private partnership road project, according to InfraPPP.
The private partner will be completely responsible for the engineering design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the contract for 25 years.
Under the contract, the concessionaire will be responsible for constructing a dual carriageway between Storavatnet in Bergen Municipality and Kolltveit in New Øygarden Municipality. In addition, the contract includes a new Sotra bridge, four tunnels, six major junctions, new bus terminals and upgrades to the roads network, among other projects.
The deadline to submit tenders is Feb. 28, 2020.
