North Sky Capital targets $200m with new infra fund

Minneapolis-based North Sky Capital has launched a new infrastructure investment fund, targeting $200 million in capital commitments, according to a Form D filed with the SEC.

According to the filing, the North Sky Infrastructure Investment Fund has raised $4.5 million from seven investors.

A specific investment strategy was not disclosed by North Sky; however, the company acquires secondary interests in impact funds through its clean growth strategy and invests in clean energy infrastructure projects through its alliance strategy, according to the firm’s website.

The firm’s clean growth series invests in infrastructure assets, in addition to various others, and targets a variety of industries. These include water, renewable energy, construction, sustainable agriculture and transportation. The fund series has completed 39 secondary investments, according to North Sky.
