Sebastian Nicholson has been promoted to principal, infrastructure investments, at Nicola Wealth Private Capital.
Nicholson joined the Canadian firm in October 2022, bringing experience in direct investments and corporate strategy. Since then, he has played an instrumental role in the buildout of the firm’s infrastructure program, Nicola Wealth stated in a LinkedIn post announcing the promotion. The firm noted Nicholson’s promotion reflects his significant contributions to the infrastructure investments team.
Prior to joining Nicola Wealth, Nicholson worked with New Zealand Superannuation Fund in the direct investments team, investing in unlisted infrastructure and private equity assets. Before that, he was in strategy and corporate development at New Zealand’s largest energy company.
