NFI and Prologis Mobility open EV truck charging hub in California to power fleet electrification

NFI, a North American supply chain solutions provider, and Prologis Mobility, a global electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure provider, have launched a new electric truck charging depot in Ontario, Calif.

The 1-megawatt facility includes 10 dedicated charging ports and can charge up to 20 vehicles daily.

The charging depot will support NFI’s fleet of nearly 90 electric Class 8 trucks, which handle drayage operations between the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and the Inland Empire. The facility supports Volvo VNR Electric and Freightliner eCascadia trucks, ensuring fleet flexibility and interoperability.
