Newcore Capital, a U.K. investment manager specializing in social infrastructure, has achieved a second close for its £375 million ($513 million) core-plus income fund, bringing total commitments to more than £100 million ($137 million).
The Newcore Social Infrastructure Income Fund (NSIIF), a semi-open-end vehicle, secured additional investment from an institutional pension scheme client of Aberdeen Investments, strengthening its investor base. This builds on previous commitments from three cornerstone investors, which include the Parliamentary Contributory Pension Fund, a Local Government Pension Scheme and an insurance company client of Capricorn Private Investments. They all contributed to the fund’s first close in March 2025.
