New York State Retirement invests $109m in Antin Infrastructure vehicle

by Lewis Dayton

The New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) committed €100 million ($108.6 million) in September to AIP Co-Invest 2023B SCSp, a closed-end fund that will invest alongside Antin Infrastructure Partners V.

The co-investment vehicle will target infrastructure investments in four sectors: energy and environment, telecom, transport, and social.

NYSCRF committed $250 million to Antin Infrastructure Partners (AIP) V earlier this year. AIP V, managed by Antin Infrastructure Partners, is seeking to raise €10 billion ($10.86 billion) and has a hard cap of €12 billion ($13.03 billion).

As of June 30, the estimated value of the NYSCRF was $254.1 billion, with 13.39 percent of that invested in real estate and real assets.
