After three months of contract discussions, GE Renewable Energy has signed on to provide turbines for Phuong Mai Wind Power JSC’s wind farm in Vietnam. GE will also provide technical advisory service for the project.
Located Binh Dinh province, the Phuong Mai 1 wind power project has good potential for wind energy, according to GE. Under the contract, GE will provide 11 2.4-megawatt-116 turbines for the Phuong Mai 1 wind project — the second wind farm in Vietnam to use this equipment.
