The New Jersey State Investment Council (SIC) has committed $125 million to Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund IV (SIF IV), according to an investment document from March 24.
SIF IV, managed by Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, will invest across the infrastructure spectrum in sectors such as renewable and gas-fired power generation, utilities, midstream energy, communications, water, and transportation assets.
As of December 2020, the fund had secured more than $8.6 billion in capital commitments, against a fundraising target of $10 billion.
At the time of the filing, 125 investors had committed to SIV IV, including the Orange County (Calif.) Employees Retirement System, Fubon Life Insurance, the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, the Employees Retirement System of Texas, the Rhode Island State Investment Commission and the Washington State Investment Board.
