Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP) has bought 100 percent of the shares in Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales (Valoriza) from Spanish construction group Sacyr for a total consideration of €734 million ($793 million).
According to global law firm White & Case, which advised MSIP on the acquisition, MSIP was the winner of an auction held by Sacyr in February, besting several other bidders.
Valoriza provides a range of services in the waste recycling chain such as collection, management and waste treatment. It also works in cities, managing street cleaning, mobility, urban infrastructure and care of green spaces.
