Mirova, a French asset management firm focused on sustainable investments, has closed its fourth European-focused clean energy fund, Mirova-Eurofideme 4, with €857 million ($946 million) in capital commitments.
According to PitchBook, the fund is more than twice the size of its predecessor Mirova-Eurofideme 3, which closed on €350 million ($386 million) in 2016. The fund has deployed more than €300 million ($331 million), financing nearly 600 megawatts of projects in France, Portugal, Norway and Spain.
As of June 30, Mirova had €12.2 billion ($13.4 billion) in assets under management, €2.5 billion ($2.7 billion) that are invested in general infrastructure projects.
