Mikael Lundin has been selected as CEO of Polhem Infra, Stockholm, a newly-formed Swedish investment company.
Lundin will replace Johanna Tesdorpf, who has acted as CEO during the company’s formation.
Polhem Infra is jointly owned by the AP Fund 1 AP Fund 3 and AP Fund 4, which manage the Swedish government’s general pension system.
The new company will invest in unlisted Swedish companies with a focus on infrastructure, targeting the renewable power generation, energy storage and digital infrastructure sectors.
Lundin previously served as interim CEO at PostNord and CEO of the Nordic electricity exchange Nord Pool in Oslo, Norway, prior to that. He has also held various positions at the Fortum Group and Vattenfall.
Lundin will start in his new position on Oct. 1, and Tesdorpf will stay on at Polhem to provide additional support.
