Michigan Office of Retirement services commits $100m to fifth KKR Global Infrastructure Fund

Michigan Office of Retirement Services has committed $100 million to KKR Global Infrastructure Investors V, a program of KKR. This commitment was made in third quarter 2024, according to meeting materials.

KKR Global Infrastructure Investors V is a closed-end fund targeting investments in oil and gas pipelines, as well as renewable energy projects. It has a fundraising goal of $20 billion. The previous fund, KKR Global Infrastructure Investors IV, closed $5 billion above its fundraising goal, at $17 billion.

The Michigan Office of Retirement Services is a public pension fund that administers retirement programs for many of Michigan’s public employees. As of June 30, 2024, it had $107.6 billion total assets under management.
