M&G Investments announced its real assets team recently completed a co-investment in Absolute Energy, an Italian renewable-energy developer and independent power producer based in Rome, in partnership with I Squared Capital.
The co-investment aligns with the real assets team’s approach of scaling mid-market infrastructure businesses that can benefit from structural tailwinds; partnering with highly experienced operators and management teams that can navigate the complexities of delivering value in local markets.
M&G Investments said by providing primary capital to Absolute Energy, it aims to directly support clean energy-transition targets. Financial terms were not disclosed.
