Matthew Eid-Holm has been appointed managing director, infrastructure opportunities, at Ares Management. He is based in New York City.
Eid-Holm started as vice president at Ares in 2022 before moving into the role of principal. Before that, he was vice president at Deutsche Bank, where he focused on principal lending to businesses in the digital infrastructure and cold storage sectors.
Ares Management’s infrastructure opportunities team specializes in infrastructure investing, with a focus on energy transition, digital and utilities. Historically, the team invested primarily in the natural gas and energy transportation sectors but has since diversified the sectors of focus. The team has deployed $14 billion in more than 350 assets and companies, according to Ares’ website.
