The Maryland State Retirement and Pension System (MSRPS) has committed $150 million to DigitalBridge Partners III and $100 million to EQT Infrastructure VI, confirmed Courtney Key, special assistant, MSRPS.
DBP III, managed by DigitalBridge, is seeking to raise $8 billion of capital and is opportunistically investing in digital infrastructure opportunities globally, including in communications, data centers and IT.
Managed by Stockholm-based EQT Partners, EQT Infrastructure VI is seeking to raise €20 billion ($21.7 billion) and is targeting the five sectors of telecommunications, energy, transport and logistics, environmental infrastructure and social infrastructure.
EQT Infrastructure VI will primarily invest in opportunities in Europe and North America but may explore opportunistic opportunities in Asia Pacific, with a goal of deploying equity checks amounting between €200 million ($217 million) and €1 billion ($1.08 billion) in approximately 15 to 20 co
